- Image - We design and manage your website. We also have other services available, such as logo design.
- Reputation - We help setup and provide access to review management/solicitation software.
- Network - This is the most tricky of the bunch. There are two key components to your network: building and managing. We currently offer re-marketing services which shows ads to people that have already visited your website or their device has been tagged in some manner. We are actively pursuing other ways in which we can help, such as birthday cards, holiday cards, or newsletters. However, our ability in this category will always be partially limited because we cannot replace the personal component that comes with your network, but we can augment it.
Our designs are industry leading websites. We do all of the design work in-house and do not use templates available for purchase on the open market. The website will be customized around the personality of your business.
Our websites are light on programming which serves two purposes:
- Simple programming is more likely to continue to work as intended when third-party software is updated. (Microsoft Windows, Apple, Android...)
- The website will load quicker on mobile devices and be easier to use.
We use a collaborative process to ensure our design meets your expectations. We have a proven questionnaire we provide you before we begin the design process. We also present the design to you in stages, so you can tell us if we are on the right track. Since all the work we do is custom, we do not design multiple versions for you to choose from.
We will craft up to 10 pages of content to launch the website with. We will also add up to 10 pages that is provided to us. Additional charges may apply if we need to write or upload additional pages.
Yes. The About Us, Staff Biographies, Testimonials, and Past Successes are examples of content that we cannot write for you.
Yes, but not required. If you want a great website, as opposed to a good website, custom photography will be required. Without it, our designers are forced to use stock photography which will have a 'template' feel to it. You should expect to pay between $500 and $1,000 for a half day of on-site professional photography. If you plan on getting a photographer, please let us know. We have guides available to help you and your photographer get the best pictures possible.
Email us. It is that simple. We will make up to 1-hour of requested updates to the website per month. The most common requests we get are address/phone number changes, adding/removing a service/product, or adding/removing a staff member. These changes can apply to either the website or business listings or both. We will perform additional updates beyond this 1-hour allotment for a fee.
This 1-hour allocation can also be used to help post content. We can also answer any questions you have about marketing. Many of our clients like to run ideas by us to get our opinion.
We try not to nickel and dime our clients but we must set a limit. If it is a simple infrequent request, we will more than likely just knock it out for you regardless of that 1-hour limit. Occasionally we will get a request that appears to be simple to our client but is actually a complex request. In these instances, we will explain the process and provide a quote.
Once a year we will review the website and make updates to the design/content to keep it feeling fresh. This translates to roughly 4-8 hours of production work.
Because WordPress is the most widely used Content Management System in the world. It is open source and any agency or contractor will be able to work on it. This ensures the business retains control over the website. Many agencies will utilize their own proprietary CMS, which locks you into working with them. We go to great lengths to ensure you have full control over your own website.
The files that make up your website have to live somewhere. We are partnered with WP Engine which is the industry leading provider of hosting for WordPress websites. They assume responsibility for keeping your website free from malicious activity. If your website were to get attacked, we will coordinate with them to get your website back to working order. WP Engine takes a proactive approach and we rarely see problems with websites hosted on their servers.
When we are actively designing a new website, a dedicated project manager is assigned. This ensures you get consistent customer service throughout the project. They are based in the USA and responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all services. They also act as the final quality assurance manager. We hold them responsible for returning all client communications within one business day.
Once your website launches, that project manager will continue to be your main point of contact but you may work with some of our other project managers. Routine service requests are often of a timely nature. The first available project manager will help you to ensure the best possible service.
From a simplistic standpoint, respond to our emails or phone calls. We will let you know when we need something, which isn't too much or too often.
Up-Front - This is when we are most needy. We have a variety of design questionnaires, contact lists, content information, and password/access documents we will need returned to us.
On-Going - Let us know of any changes you need made to your website.
Annually - We complete a full review of the website's design, programming, and content. We will have suggestions for how to improve the website which you will need to approve before we make those changes.
Online reviews are critically important to any business. You need to be asking your customers on a consistent basis to leave reviews. Our software makes this process easy.
Visit your dedicated review management web page and input your customers Name, Email, and Phone Number. Our software will send out a series of emails and text messages asking them to review your business. If you have a large number of customers you want to solicit, a bulk upload option is available.
Yes. There are many different devices and systems that interact to display a website. Each time one of these has a programming update, there is a chance the website will no longer be viewed properly. Here is a list of the different devices/systems that see regular updates:
- Computer/Phone/Tablet (Windows, Windows, Apple, Android...)
- Web Browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari...)
- WordPress
- WordPress Plugins
Most of the time we are able to keep the website fully functioning with minor updates. As time passes, we eventually need to reprogram the entire site as those minor updates begin to pile up. (You can only put duct-tape on something so many times.) This is partly why a new design is included every three years.
Additionally, many of these software updates are to fix security vulnerabilities. If these vulnerabilities are not resolved, the website is more likely to be attacked.
We setup the website in accordance with industry best practices. So the website will have the ability to rank in the search engines. In lower competitive markets this is sometimes enough to rank well. However, there are hundreds of factors that the search engines use to determine which website to rank. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a marketing service that optimizes your website for these factors.
IRN does not offer SEO services. We will not monitor performance of SEO or make any attempt to improve your website's rankings. If you are interested in SEO services, one of our other agencies may be able to help you.
We help keep your basic information updated across the major listings websites. Such as Google My Business or the Yellow Pages. This is commonly referred to as NAP; Name, Address, and Phone Number.
We place a cookie on your website that allows you to advertise to people that have already visited your website. This ensures you stay top of mind in case people do not make a purchase after visiting your website.
We use software to monitor your website and ensure that it stays online. We have up to the minute notifications in case something goes wrong. The most common reason a website goes down is a hosting issue, which is why we partner with WP Engine.
We require an initial agreement of 15 months. We work month-to-month after the initial term. This is required because we do not charge any upfront fees. The initial agreement ensures we are able to recoup our startup costs.
Yes, but we stay incredibly focused on our main offering. We strive to be the best at what we do instead of a jack of all trades. Depending on your needs, we may refer you to one of our other agencies.
We accept credit card and ACH. We are not administratively equipped to accept any other forms of payment. We invoice/bill on the first of every month.
